Events & Workshops

Aside from having 1 to 1 sessions, where the depth of learning can be self-dictated, the best way to receive more in-depth knowledge about your own health, the health of the planet, and yoga in general, is to attend a Bia Wellbeing workshop or event. These events will have varying themes, and will be biased towards people with specific learning interests - but of course, everyone is welcome. Some events will also be held as part of a collaboration with other professionals who also promote greater wellbeing. Some of the various focuses of past and future events include:

Move & Breathe - June 4th 2017 London

A yoga mobility workshop perfect for beginners, or those who are seeking for a greater understanding of how yoga breathing is essential for helping improve mobility. Learn the different ways we can move the spine, the main dysfunctions of the spine, and gain an insight into how your own spine may be helping or hindering your mobility, plus practical tools you can use to improve the way your spine moves.

Participants said:

"As someone who does regular weight and cardio training I was looking to yoga for the extra support and mobility to counteract lifting heavy weights and also the peace of mind and serenity that yoga can bring... I was looking for the underlying theory behind the practice as well as the help and support during classes which I got from Tissie. The 3 hour group session that I took with her covered all the basics I needed to further my practice. The individual and group support received I had not witnessed or experienced from another teacher. Time also flew by as I was quite daunted at first by its duration, this was due to the friendly and light hearted nature of the class." - Tom
